For this session we had to think of an emotion and then take images that portray or represent this emotion. I chose the feeling 'lonely' as it was a rainy miserable day and I thought the scenery outside with this dark clouds and rain would be appropriate. I found many paintings and images in the corridors with dark, unattractive images that I believed would represnt the lonely emotion. Although all the images show the emotion in their own way, the second image inparticular shows visually a person sitting in a lonely corridor on their own, this is a strong image. The third image shows a winding staircase from above, this represents being alone, and the winding staircase could represent a 'never-ending' emotion. Finally, the last image shows a dark corridor, this clearly is a lonely image as it has no people in it, only a dark corridor and a door at the end. It could represent a person having to travel through the dark corridor alone in order to reach the end, this could be linked with the metaphor with 'light at the end of the tunnel'.
